Handmade black leather pocket-wallet pouch (Credit or business card case / holder)

This is a small leather pouch designed to hold credit cards in the center compartment, and two outside pockets for dollar bills or receipts. It would also be perfect for keeping business cards - in any of the three compartments of the case. The outside seams are hand-stitched.

It's compact and light, especially suited for those of you who do not like to carry a bulky wallet in your pockets. It measures 4" x 2.75". It's listed on my ibagsnmore shop on Etsy.

Yesterday was a bit of a gloomy day, so I felt like making something vibrant and colorful to brighten things up. The day was made gloomier after I listened to the news - lots of political news ahead of the mid-term elections next week. Sometimes I feel like the whole world is spiraling out of control - downward. So it helps to create something beautiful to counter the ugly.

Here are 4 new creations for my Etsy shops Belvidesigns and ibagsnmore. The smaller cases will fit both an iPhone 4 and a Droid 2, while the big leather sleeve is for an Apple iPad. I will be listing these on my Etsy shop shortly, where you can get more detailed information about each item.

Navy beige herringbone Apple iPhone 4 or iTouch sleeve / case / cozy - Handmade from Belvidesigns

Another beautiful classic fabric for an iPhone case (I'll probably make an iPad case out of it as well). The herringbone is of navy/dark-blue and beige, and it's a soft but thick material. I added a fusible interface to give it some structure, and lined it with a super-soft navy anti-pill fleece. The Velcro-equipped closure tab is made of a tan leather. This is a very classy-looking sleeve. It will fit the new iTouch as well since they are very similar in size.

Here are the two latest creations for my Etsy shops - ibagsnmore and belvideisgns. The iPhone 4 case is made of a bluish leather, lined with a grayish wool-blend felt, with a very convenient outside pocket. The side seams are hand-stitched and the top portions are left open/unsewn purposely to make it easy to get the phone in and out.

The iPad case is made of a black cotton fabric with white musical-notes print. It's interfaced for structure and lined with a black felt-like fabric. It's equipped with Velcro closure.

Here are two recent creations for my Belvidesigns and ibagsnmore shops on Etsy. 

The black leather pouch is designed to fit an Apple iPhone 4 (with the Apple bumper) or the Droid 2. The black-white musical notes case is designed to fit an iPhone 4 (without the bumper or any other "skin"). The latter should fit the new iTouch as well, as they are very similar in size.  Both cases provide a snug fit.

One of the most challenging things in the life of an artistic / designer type is the limited number of hours in a day. I have so many ideas that I would like to try, but due to the lack of time I have to pick and choose carefully what projects to pursue. Here is the latest creation I came up with yesterday. The sleeve is interfaced for structure and lined with a black wool-blend felt. It comes with leather button and a piece of black cotton string for closure (You simply wrap the string around the button to secure the case).

Black white herringbone Apple iPad sleeve / case / cover is back at Belvidesigns

The black and white herringbone sleeves / cases / covers / cozies have been the most popular items on Belvidesigns. For a period I was completely out of any variety of this material. With the arrival of Fall, fabric stores have finally brought out their wool or wool-blend stock, which often includes herringbone design.

The iPad sleeve shown here is the result of my latest batch of black-white herringbone fabrics. It is a soft and thick wool-blend upholstery-grade fabric that would be perfect to keep any iPad safe and protected. It is interfaced and lined appropriately to give the case structure and a soft interior. The Velcro closure tab is made of a black wool felt.

These are two new iPhone 4 sleeves / cases I just completed for my Etsy shop Belvidesigns. The messages on the front of the cases are self-explanatory. Both cases are made of a black cotton fabric. One is lined with a grey wool-blend felt and has a Velcro closure and it will fit the iPhone 4 with OR without the bumper. The other one is lined with a thick dark fleece and it will fit the iPhone 4 without the bumper.
