This is a custom order for a customer of ibagsnmore on Etsy - for her new MacBook Air 11-inch. It is very similar to another one I had made for the Apple iPad, the only difference is that it's slightly larger and I also added some crimson fabric trim, as this case is designed for an Alabama fan.
The case is made of a black and white houndstooth fabric, interfaced for structure and protection, and lined with black wool-blend felt. There is a handy outside pocket that's also lined with black felt, and the leather closure tabs are equipped with heavy Velcro.
It's been a couple weeks since my last blog post, mostly due to a super busy summer. Things will slow down after August, I'm sure. Even though I haven't had time to create new items for my Etsy shops lately, I have been thinking about some new designs, which I am really excited about creating and showing them to you. In the meantime, here are two of my most popular designs - Oldie but goodie.
The leather one is not too "old", actually - it's from earlier this year, and it has remained a best seller on my ibagsnmore shop. I have actually improved on the design since its inception in March 2011, in addition to making it available in other colors.
The other one is made of black and white herringbone originally created in 2010 for my Belvidesigns shop, but I have since updated the design and making it available in various lining colors. You can see the updated cases here:

I am also including some really cute and unique accessories at the end of this post from my good friend's Etsy shop - IndieMarket.
This is another upholstery fabric I found recently that pairs well with many possibilities. I used a textured burgundy leather to provide a sharp contrast in this case. The material has a canvas-like feel to it. I love the combination!
I love this fabric -- the multicolored plaid can be paired with so many options -- dark felt of any color or burgundy / brown / navy leather. I complemented this particular case with a grey wool-blend felt. I also added an outside pocket and equipped it with heavy Velcro closure.
